Enhance: Rehabilitation Training for Pilates Instructors

Enhance: Rehabilitation Training for Pilates Instructors

This course will teach you how to use Pilates in a rehab setting, with a focus on clinical reasoning and critical thinking.

You will increase your confidence working with clients with injuries and pathologies, facilitating their movement and return to function.

The main course objectives are:

  • To facilitate your understanding of functional anatomical connections for movement.
  • To facilitate your ability to recognise dysfunctional movement.
  • To give you confidence to modify and adapt exercises to support a return to functional movement.
  • To challenge you to "invent" new exercises that support a return to functional movement.
  • To give you confidence to know when to integrate with other healthcare practitioners an/or refer on.

This course is delivered over fourteen weeks, with pre-reading, online lectures, and case studies to support your learning. (Includes a one-week mid-term break.)

The complete course is 60 hours, with additional time required for assignments and self-directed learning.

After purchase, you will have lifetime access to the online lectures, recordings of discussions, and the Calibrate Community.
