Begin: Introduction to Clinical Pilates

 

This course will teach you how to use Pilates in a rehab setting, with a focus on clinical reasoning and critical thinking.

You will learn basic Mat, Reformer, Trapeze Table and Wunda Chair repertoire, with an emphasis on the clinical application of these exercises.

 

The main course objectives are:

  • To facilitate your understanding of functional anatomical connections for movement.
  • To give you confidence to teach exercises that support functional movement.
  • To give you confidence to safely use Pilates equipment to support patient rehabilitation.

 

This course is delivered over two consecutive weekends, with pre-reading, online lectures, and case studies to support your learning.

 

The complete course is 15 hours, with additional time required for self-directed learning.

 

After purchase, you will have lifetime access to the online lectures, recordings of the webinar, and the Calibrate Community.

Prerequisites

The course is open to practitioners with a scope of practice that includes therapeutic exercise, including physiotherapists, registered massage therapists, occupational therapists, chiropractors, athletic therapists, osteopaths, and rehabilitation assistants.

Tertiary-level knowledge of anatomy and physiology is assumed.

 

Refund Policy

Course cancellation 30 days prior to course start dates will receive a full refund, minus a processing fee of $105.

Course cancellation within 30 days of course start dates forfeits the initial deposit.
